Pride is a really awesome, genuinely magical time for alot of people, and I feel so glad that there is a time dedicated to celebrating who you are, no matter what you are, and showing to everyone else that you exist.

Unfortunately, the world being a little bit on fire has silenced that for so many for the second year in a row, and honestly, in my opinion, pride is corrupted and twisted for money from the very people who ensure the status quo (insert clips of companies turning back to normal on midnight on the 1st of July) (also cough Disney cough).

But the important message that needs to be pressed now more than ever is as long as you are not hurting anyone, you can be whatever you want to be, and you deserve to be safe and supported throughout your journey.
It's okay not to know where you fit but it's important that you are able to explore and discover yourself without fear of persecution, and it's okay to change with time, it's also okay to not want a label, and it's important to know when you take one, there is no requirements, rules or image you have to promote or else bring the "genuine" people down, it's a way of communicating who you are, and no one can define that, other than you.

Be proud of yourself not just for one month, but all year round <3
