After a long day of muffins and potion making, Jack and Fiona can finally- Hey, wait a minute, these people aren't Jack and Fiona! Well, I'm sure they're all related somehow...

Hope you guys like this very special chapter. After the events of the previous one, Omega thought something like this would be called for, and as usual, they were dead on. It was definitely interesting to finally explore just a bit of the history and show a glimpse of those characters. Plus getting to write Fiona and Jack like that is an opportunity I haven't had since chapter 1, so that was great as well.

Interesting lore details in this one. Names and professions of "certain characters", a little indirect glimpse of the "legal system" in action, and finally a name for the town! ...The next town over, that is. Yeah, we still haven't given the actual setting where everyone lives a name yet. Sue us. Naming stuff is hard. Oh, but "Clawsdale" is actually a reference, you know. Not that I expect *anyone* to get it other than Omega.

Omega who? Well the co-creator of this entire series, of course! The one who comes up with many of these characters, as well as the concept for this chapter. You can find them over here:  x9cOmega. And if you're looking for the rest of "How Not To Become Lunch", you can find the whole series here:

Those comics caused SO much trouble...but it was really cute seeing a bit of a prequel!

Barber Barbarian sounds nice to say, and may be the reason this person targeted them in the first place. If you are niche enough, you can get your own unique villain name despite only being a small-time serial killer. Come to think of it, is it murder because he's eating workers or because he's human and not a pred? Or possibly some other reason because life rarely boils down to two possibilities.

He also didn’t pay. That might be the real crime in this world.

Yup. It was mostly the fact that he kept stiffing barbers (some of which he didn’t eat). And I’m sure the fact that Chester was hungry and this guy was likely about to try and eat his friend played into things a bit.

Having a werewolf cop watching your back must be very comforting.

If you’re his friend, totally. If not…

I was not expecting this to be a prequel, I thought it was just another pair Fiona and jack might meet. But this backstory was so much better! Fantastically done and I cannot wait to read more.

Oooh! A flashback, and first we've seen of Jack and Fiona's fathers I believe.

What an intriguing prequal story! How old are the comics relative to the humans? This is important, story-wise. I must know when the printing press was made.

That is a very good worldbuilding question!
…Which I do not have an answer to at this time

Ah. Damn. You see, these things are important.

Yes. I honestly never considered we might meet the dads.

It was very nice seeing them. Almost like a platonic precursor to Fi and Jack.

I love platonic friendships. They are not common enough in vore media.

Any wholesome relationship is good for me. Though that also tends to be rare in vore media
