@SoulReaper85 objectively wrong, being colored panels would be enough to make it peak because of suzuki's art so you don't even know what you're talking about. the shin slow mo cut with seba is better than anything else in the show so far.
@ryzxgum It's not enough IT'S AN ANIME IT SHOULD MOVE the Manga conveys fast paced motion WAY better, it just feels like a downgrade when the Anime is a Colored Version of the manga without the advantages of being an Anime

@guonnie "if you think it's bad than be an animator yourself" is a stupid rebuttal no matter how you slice it
You Don't need to be an animator to know bad animation just as you Don't need a cook to know bad food
@SoulReaper85 Well if you keep using buzz words in all your comments to make you seem like you know what you are talking about, then give us an example. That's all I am saying.

It was so funny when the machine dude was tossing the old people at Sakamoto and he just gently placed them each in a seat😂

Also, Lu apologizing was so adorable!!!

Yeah don't understand the hate. Sakamoto feels a lot like Gintama, it's not top tier animation but it's hella enjoyable and funny.

Also, is Slur a reference to Johan from Monster? Because he sure looks like him

Yhwach’s reference? That’s bizarre:)
Sakamoto managed to defeat that guy who thought he holds the supremacy. His fighting abilities weren’t good, since he was depending only of guns and not real fight.

Since when sitting like that is a Yhwach reference? Did he invent sitting or tf?

No, I mean Yhwach was standing like that as well. That’s why I said it might be a Yhwach reference:)

All my Problems with the Way its directed in the Fight Scenes are encapsulate, Lack of Motion and Elevation of the material, Fight is just 1 to 1 colored Manga Panel Impact Frames and no in betweens and Adds Nothing, A lot of Slo mo, underwhelming as heck
That one panel just wasn't done enough justice
Why is this team not good at showing a lot of the actual hitting it always cuts away from the hits and impacts and cuts to the result of that hit making the Action have a lot less weight
There were some moments where the Art style looks good but held back by the composition and cheaply animated Action
This Adaptation is finished and shows 0 promise for the future

Sorry but I just don’t think you realize the source material is as good as you think it is. I’ve been going through the manga and the anime has done a great job with fights while keeping the art style of the manga and even elevating the source material. Idk if you thought the manga gave way for jjk/demon slayer type animation but it just wasn’t drawn and created in a way to let that happen. So I think this anime is being done very well and I don’t understand the hate

The fight between Sakamoto and Kashima was entertaining and chaotic. Not only did the pair have some impressive moves, but once their fight ended up on a passenger train, the way Kashima attacked Sakamoto by even throwing other passengers at him was pretty hilarious. Of course, Sakamoto cleaned him up in 5 minutes as he said he would do.

Seba proved to be a cunning opponent, but both Shin and Heisuke were able to squeak out a hard fought win. It helped Shin to reunite with Lu, where they both apologised to each other, before they all successfully evacuated all of the innocent researchers out of the lab safely. We also got a proper look at Slur, whose presence felt rather unnerving when Shin encountered him in the lab. At least he didn't do anything, but it's only a matter of time before this villain gets involved in more shady and gruesome acts. The sooner he gets taken down by the Order, the better.

Overall, this was a pretty enjoyable episode. Seeing Sakamoto fight the way he does has been fun and I hope his future fights keep that fun factor going for as long as possible.

@MikeyFromCali The Source Material is my favorite Action manga from an Art and paneling standpoint, you obviously didn't read past where the anime is adapting, DS art does not give way for that animation but it's elevated to that level, in what way does TMS elevate the source Material in the Action and fight choreography(which is non existent) past episode 1, Anime is doing an OK job of being 1 to 1 colored manga impact frames they are not fast nor kinetic like the manga, Fights have too much slo mo and basic storyboarding, no Aura or barely any cool factor to be found compared to Solo Leveling

Is it just me, or the animation as kinda better this episode?

Anyways, it was your usual Sakamoto Days episode, and train fight scene was really cool.
I was expecting Shin's relationship with the Lab's (prior) chief more explored, but it was that kind of akward reunion between 2 people that didn't see eachother for a long time. Honestly, the thing I liked the least in the episode (and this whole arc) is how akward the situation is, when they want to show us that this Lab was really important for Shin, but because Shin wanted to prove his "Lab Dad" that his experiment was right, and could save the world, he just ran off one day (so that the Lab Dad couldn't revert the situation), and NEVER came back. Now, this was when Shin was around 6-8 years old, he's now 21, and he just kinda remembered the Lab, because of this whole thing. After the reunion with his Lab Dad, they didn't talk much, Shin just kinda showed him that his experiment was really useful, and he was using it to the maximum. And that was it. Then we got the usual "please take care of my boy" to Sakamoto. I don't know, didn't really like the storytelling here, it came off as it wasn't really explored.

Anyways, Shin continues to be my favorite character of the anime, so yeah.

We finally see Slur, and apparentaly he's interested in Sakamoto. Still not sure what he wanted from Shin (don't forget the Lab was coming to get him, but they never touch on that later), and why he showed himself to Shin. But poor Shin, everyone that he meets wants to kill him.

Also, the Deisuke and Shin fight against Seba was really cool. It's nice to see them work together.

I don't imagine for the next episodes to introduce much of a plot twist, so the season seems to be ending on a really chill note.

Sakamoto easily lose his weight whenever he is fighting someone strong... Then he easily gain them again.
The fight is okay... Kashima is actually not that evil... If he is truly evil, he would just kill those train passengers... And it is kinda funny how he just randomly throw those elderly.
Guess in Sakamoto days world... they seen ominous fight so often till make them not so scare with those fight -_-

Slur just look a little like Johan indeed... but he is fully white in colour.

It's seem that only Shin that have superpower in this anime... Everyone else just pure strength, skill and gadgets users....

Alllriight, here we have the best episode of the season so far!

That was enjoyable. I had forgotten how badass that small introduction to Slur was. When he passed by Shin it actually gave me chills.

Sakamoto vs Kashima fight was as fast paced and as chaotic and random as I remembered, quite nice to watch.
"In the past few months since we met, I've shared many memories with Nagato. Though I've also shared memories with Haruhi, Asahina-san and Koizumi, I found that I've experienced more events with Nagato in particular. In fact, every situation seems to involve her. I might as well mention this, she's probably the only person to cause the bell within me to shake the most vigorously..." ~ Kyon, TMOSH

Nah, this show is still bland, there is no depth to it all, all the villians are more interesting than the MCs in that at least they have fricking personalities.
Action scenes don't matter if I don't care enough about what is going on.
Also as I haven't read the manga I don't care that this episode recreated "an iconic scene" from the manga, and even if I did I'm still not sure if I would care as judging from the pics people are showing the show didn't even do it that well.
Also, it didn't really happen in this episode, but the fact that the show seems to love to throw confusing things at you and then never explain them also annoys me.

Shin might not have an advantage against Seba, but Heisuke does, and the ingenuity of his simple mind does help Shin clear of the invisible hit man. And going back to Sakamoto and Kashima, while the latter thought he'd have the advantage due to his weaponry, it's Sakamoto with his simple flyers and stickers that are able to thwart even the strongest assassin.

And even more to disguise being in public, Sakamoto maintaining his public image as well, he's even more immortal than Kashima with his fast reflexes, so much so that he took care of everything without damaging as much property as possible. It's a fight worth noting for Sakamoto's swift legacy as the pro that is feared by everyone.

In retrospect, Shin believing that whatever Asakura did to him since that day, his Clairvoyance came through for situations critical, like with the Lab self-destructing and savign everyone out. It's also the first time Shin has a feel for Slur, which invokes real fear.

All in all, a rather serviceable mini arc for the real enemy's entry in the future to come.

Second big fight of the show... let's see if they cook harder than the first time around. But first we still have Heisuke vs. Seba, and for a while there, Heisuke was holding his own, just ricochet shots after ricochet shots, and Heisuke finally used his brain and came up with a actually half decent plan, that is to spray the sprinkler on him so that Shin can see him and finally defeat him.

But yeah, back to the main fight of the show, Sakamoto vs... yeah I don't even remember bros name lmao. And you know your done for when not only is the fight happening on a train, but Sakamoto goes skinny mode as well. .... sliding the door very slowly and then beating dudes ass once and for all. Such a fun fight man lmao. Animation wasn't all too bad either imo. It wasn't the best, but it wasn't as bad as Sakamoto vs. Boiled's fight. And so, all's well that end's well.
