Well, by one interpretation, she's bugfuck insane, strip-mining aura instead of just channeling it like a normal lucario, and doing it so she can supposedly raise the dead. On the other hand, she's doing it not because she's a sadist, but because of an undying love for her trainer and a wish to undo a terrible tragedy.
And yes, someTHING is very, very angry that she's doing this. That Moltres wasn't the "big bad". She was her Dragon (sidekick). Whatever is opposing Hilde is Mewtwo level powerful. That Moltres was just an appetizer compared to what she is eventually going to have to fight.

They do have a point, Hilde is in fact insane after all a sane person doesn't do what she has done, and I don't mean in this quest series, many of her characteristics, habits, thoughts, and attitude show clear signs of instability, delusion, desperation, and insanity (to varying degrees) and while she does feel remorse she chooses to ignore her conscience and the negative/harmful effects her actions and choices cause in favor of furthering her end goal which she later admits can't be done with neither dark magic nor aura siphoning meaning the idea of attacking random mons and absorbing their aura (thus, probably painfully, killing them) so she could bring her trainer back was nothing more than a pipe dream/delusion that resulted in many Pokémon dying in vain or sort of in vain (I'm not sure, but it didn't bring him closer to life) note: resurrection is possible in pokemon, look up AZ, but i think we all know by now that trying to drag a soul back to life in the end does more harm than good and, as shown in many popular franchises such as shadow of the colossus and (again) pokemon, its a self-defeating quest, one i don't think her trainer was sing her praises for. I don't like talking about someone i haven't even meet but like a detective one can get to know a guy by what they lift behind and all signs point that he wouldn't be to happy about this.
If he didn't. she never would have been able to achieve Mega form. Pokemon do prey on one another. While what Hilde is doing is kind of unusual for Lucario, I wouldn't exactly call Hestis "innocent".
Hilde's kind of caught between three forces, her trainer (who is with her in spirit if nothing else), whatever sent Hestis, and whatever revived her after her losing battle with the Snorlax. There's great forces at work here, and that makes for a great story.

That’s certainly another good point. With that much power though, there is the potential for going overboard and doing something that’s a no-no. Maybe even something as severe as corruption. Overall, I love a good story, and I definitely want to see a plumper Hilde all things considered!
I don't think Hilde's corrupt more than she's a kind of literal Blood Knight, on a quest to make right her own terrible wrong (accidentally killing her trainer). It's easy to see why she has powerful opposition: She's preying on Pokemon for their aura, something far outside of normality for a lucario. But something equally powerful is aiding her quest. It sees what she is doing as righteous, something worth supporting.
It also is a great excuse to show off Hilde getting successfully bigger bellies.

I feel like i should point out that we already kinda know how this story ends. Its great to see speculation and whatnot, but SOME of you need to remember that this is the story of her journey, which ends with her joining the Sanctuary, if i recall right. So some of ya need to chill.
Hey fid! Long time fan, first time commenter. Love how it works and I can’t wait to see more of this because it is just so awesome to look at! I can’t wait~
The fires are amazing and the series is fantastic. The only complaint I have is when I tried to open it I saw the mission complete page before I saw the rest of the shirt story. Don’t know why that happened for me since everyone else is loving it too but I’ll just put that aside.
The fight between the moltres and Hilde is something I am very amazed to read. I especially love the snide and overconfident legend get what she deserves. I am curious as to who will be next and what more story will be uncovered. I’ll just have to stay tuned for more. ^u^

Great work on this chapter it looked awesome and the battle flowed great, the only thing I wish is that we got to see a little more of the weight gained Hild from the Snorlax or at least a short reaction from Hild about it, mainly because you don't often someone like a snorlax in a prey role let alone the after affects.
Side note the Moltres got that direct hit on her in the water by following the aura harpoon back to where she was right? I love all the smart little strategies that show up in these comics.

Yeah, I think that Hildegard should have kept that large Pudgy belly she gained from digesting that snorlax just for a bit longer. And Yes, that it would have been great to see her reaction to her own belly after digesting such a large Pokémon. ^_^
I am curious how she will be able to defeat and swallow much larger Pokémon than Snorlax.
I wonder how she will eat a Pokémon like Onix? I wonder if there will be a comic on that later on in this amazing series. :)

Beating Onix wouldn't be to hard she has a lot of very effective moves against rock types.
Not sure how she will handle eating Onix but Gyarados could probably be eaten as a Magikarp then it evolves already in her stomach.
On the subject of pokemon she may have trouble eating not counting the Legendaries I think she will have the most trouble with 1.Grimer and Muk because of the awful taste, 2.(Gastly Haunter and Gengar,) because they are ghosts and can probably phase though her plus the whole already dead thing, 3.(Abra, Kadabra, and Alakazam) because of teleportation and psychic shenanigans and lastly 4.Clefairy and Clefable because I'm guessing Hildegard will have to deal with them spamming metronome and having to deal with almost every move possible, though with a little luck it could turn out in her favour like if they get Minimize and get shrunk.
Which do you think will be tough for her and why?

Probably with Alakazam because of alakazam’s evolutionary line their psychic types, and Hildegard at a disadvantage being part fighting type with them, which means their psychic attacks can land super effective and critical hits. But maybe the steel type advantage could reduce the strength of those attacks. Just what I think.
According to the type charts psychic only deals 1x damage or regular amounts the only types that have even a 2x damage against Lucarios are Fighting,Ground, and Fire.
On the other hand most of Hildegard's moves rely on physical contact so psychicly lifting her off the ground would significantly hamper her ability to fight back, not to mention if they want to fight dirty and attack her mind directly.

I love the effort put into this part of the series, though i do notice that hildegard is starting to become quite predictable and a little marry sue like in the comic series, as she doesnt seem to have any weaknesses when fighting other pokemon or if she does and she starts to loose to what ever it is shes fighting she seems to get saved by something the vary last second and then wins the fight. Especially with how the mega evolution happened in this one and she lost the fat she had from before and then easily won the fight.
Though i do love this series even with me nitpicking on the story, i still like what your doing with it and i am happy your art is improving with each new installment of this comic and your rabbit astray series, even makes me wanna try doing a vore series with my character at some point. ^-^
I especially like that she didnt have the snorlax from the previous comic fully digested and had to fight with the massive gut as a weakness for awhile, and the fire effects you did with the greyscale style looks great! (I need to practice grayscale my self though...). And you also did a really great belly at the vary end!
I hope i some day can find the time to draw that comic for you that I've been wanting to do, but life has been annoying for me and cant find anytime to start it xc
Anyway hope your next comic/picture goes well, hope nothing i said upsets or offended you, and hope you see this/respond to this comment!

I have yet to see the comic myself (I coming home from work :/) but when I do, I shall give my 100% honest opinion on the story (rather than the art, cuz I know your art style from seeing you many times and I don’t feel right criticising art when I ain’t an artist myself) and I will even read it five times for good measure so that way I can make any last minute observations.
See ya when I come back ;3

uhh... im gonna be honest fidchell, assuming i didn't read the story at all and just focusing on only negative part of my comment is rather rude of you...
I was just telling you what i saw was going on in the comic series and was just telling you about it but also pointing out the positive in it, not just to dismiss your idea the series is going towards, as if your wanting her to achieve what shes going for in the story thats entirely up to you, as this is free content after all for us and is your own work. but it would be nice of you to also didn't assume things or only look down on comments that point out things in your pictures/comics, I would recommend accepting criticism on your stuff as its a way to improve even if it may not be by much, but to dismiss it or talk down on it isn't that much of a good idea.

Hey, I need you to simmer down a little bit. I appreciate the positives you pointed out, however, I was simply explaining some of what you considered made Hildegard a Mary Sue or "predictable", which I can easily take offense to since you've shown you haven't done your research on the character, otherwise you wouldn't have worded your post like that. I fully accept criticism, but yours about Hildegard is unfounded and shows ignorance on your part, so when you have good criticism to provide, I'll be more than happy to keep it in mind!
What out fluffy friend here is saying has some merit. Now the term mary sue is thrown around so much it has lost all meaning. But calling this series predictable kinda is. Like, think about it, tell me a situation in which Hildegard looses a fight. Because as far as I can see, from a meta perspective she cant. She has been characterized as incredibly powerful and resourceful, which is good, but she is so strong and so resourceful that even a legendary pokemon with a dual type advantage still lost. Because even without the cerebii thing, the only main character in the comic isn't going to die, and in this world there is a good chance you will get eaten if you aren't outright killed in a fight. So the only way she could possibly loose a fight is if she finds someone even more powerful than herself, that also for what ever reason is content letting her live. And that situation, one is maybe a bit forced but it depends on how you do it I guess, and two would mean this vore comic series would go an installment without vore, which while not impossible is definitely unlikely.
So all that put together we have a story that cant really have twists, and any attempted twists will be pretty easy to see coming. Now that's not saying a good and interesting story can't be told here, I've seen people do more with less, still.

Fair enough. But the thing is, when a narrative is a certain way, in this case a generic shonen anime, the characters in it tend to seems similar, in this case a bit generic and predictable. And me personally, I have a tangential understanding of the FCEU and know there is far more nuance and depth to Hildeguard than is often forward facing. But a lot of people just don't because they don't know what her lore is or even that is exists.
Now I am not going to ascribe logic to the above latios' reasoning, but in general there will be people who either don't know about the rich backstory this character has, or don't know it, and there will be people like me who know the character has depth, but can still see that this method of story telling doesn't always express that well. And now I have to be frank here, being upset at people for misinterpreting your characters doesn't help anyone. I get it I really do, I have characters I have made, or just characters I enjoy, and if people went around saying things about them that aren't accurate I would be a bit miffed myself. But what fluffy said wasn't rude or aggressive or insulting, he was just misinformed about Hildegard, information that at my last checking was hard to find.
And what do I think you should do, well firstly learn to take criticize a bit better. Saying that make me a bit of a bit of a hypocrite, but the fact you zoned in on this tiny nit pick in a post that was 70% telling you how much of an inspiration you are is a sign of some stuff that maybe needs to be worked out. But beyond that, if you care so much about the lore and personality of these characters put that in the forefront more. You have a whole new non vore account that will doubtless serve that function, but also maybe link to old stories you've written in a journal here or, even just next time someone says something that comes from a place of misunderstanding, explain it, or even link to them some piece of lore that clarifies it if that makes more sense. Your problem is clearly with ignorance and the only way to fix that is with information.

Fair enough. But here is the thing, there will always be people who are ignorant of your writing. Some people might just not know, sure there is a link to the wiki on your page but I will put actual money on a lot of people scrolling right past that to get to the good stuff.
But that shouldn't matter because their criticism is still valid, at least to a point. Sure to criticize the whole of her character as boring and predictable isn't completely accurate, if he had said that in this comic she is a bit predictable, or she is predictable because the story is so predictable, would that be so wrong. I mean unless I misinterpreted our conversation you agree the series as a whole is a bit simple and you are completely fine with that being the case. And to reiterate what I said before, the perception of a character is defined by the story they are in (Example: most good villains see themselves as the hero of their own story yes? well hypothetically if we saw the story from their viewpoint we would agree more or less.) So it's reasonable to assume that someone might have the, let's say, simplicity of the story affect their perception of it's central character on the whole.

I’ll be honest, I was pretty disappointed to see Hildegard lose all of her pudge when she Mega Evolved. Was kinda hoping to see her as a fat Mega Lucario! XD
But I did notice one other thing she lost when she Mega Evolved: the jacket she was wearing. I looked real close at all of the pictures of Mega Hildegard and I didn’t see her wearing the jacket at all! Was that intentional or accidental? Or am I just blind and she’s wearing the jacket but I’m not seeing it?

Is it possible for Hildegard to learn any new moves during this saga? She's succeeded so far but some more type coverage would go a long way to helping her quest.
Also off topic but it makes sense to me why Moltres would be the pokemon sent to take her down, between her type advantages, her ranged abilities, her ability to fly and the fact that being covered in fire makes it dangerous to even touch her, she would have a pretty good edge against Hildegard, heck if she had been smart enough to fight her away from a large water source I would have put my money on her to win.

The art is hot, the story is interesting, but I’m not sure I can bring myself to cheer for the protagonist. She seems to be motivated by, “someone I love died and I feel intense grief, so, in order to revive him, I shall murder hundreds of people and inflict that same grief upon them and their loved ones.” The kind of character that starts out as a hero, but gradually makes so many enemies that they will eventually be defeated by vengeance-seeking adventurers. Curious to see what happens.
